An on-going dialogue of images

I was initially drawn to photographing nature, the nude and all things Asian. But, the northern island of Japan in winter transformed my love of Japanese Cranes into a lifelong project to photograph all fifteen species-eleven of which are endangered.
​
Yet, color, form, and abstract images are everywhere-in the backyard, and in the many countries I have visited. They call out to the photographer's eye as well.
