I live in the Santa Cruz mountains between Los Gatos, CA and the sea, with my husband, Kim(ball), our two dogs, and assorted wildlife.

I worked as a textbook designer for many years. Now that I've retired, I'm able to pursue all of the elements that go into books-- for the fun of it. I enjoy photography and printmaking, bookbinding and book arts. We have a letterpress studio set up in the former garage, and on Monday nights we play bluegrass music with friends.
